Manual Tester

Job Summary

We are looking for a Manual Tester to ensure quality and reliability of applications through effective testing practices. You will be responsible for test planning, execution, and defect management across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and create comprehensive test plans
• Design and execute test cases for functional and regression testing
• Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools
• Perform smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing
• Collaborate with developers to understand features and resolve issues
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide testing perspective
• Create and maintain test documentation
• Support UAT and production releases

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in manual software testing
• Strong understanding of STLC and testing methodologies
• Experience with test case design and execution
• Proficiency in bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla)
• Knowledge of regression and functional testing
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience testing web and mobile applications
• Basic understanding of SQL for data validation
